Fathers Club - HS Girls Basketball Tailgate

Parents - We are sponsoring a new event this year. We will be 'tailgating' prior to the HS Girls Basketball game on 12/14 in the HS senior lounge. The father's club will be providing pizza. We will start the tailgate around 5pm. Students will enter the game for free and will cheer the team on as they enter the gym. Please contact me if you are interested in attending. As we do with our Football tailgate we ask families to bring appetizers, desserts and drinks.

Please email Denis Lafaille if you are interested in attending. The game starts at 7pm.

Jeans for Troops 2018.JPG

The DFS Student Council is proud to announce that our Red, White, and Blue Jeans Day raised just over 500 dollars for the G.I. Go Fund. This was our second straight year of reaching this mark and we want to give a huge thank you to all of the students and staff who participated. The halls were filled with patriotic colors and your generosity will help Veterans go to college, find jobs and secure housing. Congrats also to our top fund raising class, Miss McGrath’s first grade! Thanks again to all for helping make Veterans Day a special one here at DFS.

- Mr. Spillane

Happy to say that our 7th annual “Dolphins for Turkeys” pajama day was a wonderful success!

Our generous families and students donated $1,365 this year, with Mrs. Dagan’s 3rd grade class coming out on top, collecting $101!  Wow!!

This little program has now donated over $10,000 to families in need. Small things (and people!) can always make a big difference!

Students who consistently read at home realize the greatest gains in decoding, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.  Reading enjoyment also increases, and the goal of developing a lifelong reader is attained.  Attached is a video with real life tips to help establish a nightly routine and make reading a priority at home!
